“Indigo Crow is not for the chain restaurant crowd” tphil00 1 contribution Corrales, NM Jun 20, 2009 I've been a regular there for years, and live in the neighborhood. It's a lovely old building,
and the food is quite good. Some of my personal favorites include the sea scallops in white wine with capers, prosciutto and
parmesan, from the appetizer menu. The Catalina salad is a reassuring standard for us after long workdays when noone wants
to make dinner. And the Seared Ahi Tuna (either the dinner or the salad, from the lunch menu) actually calls to me. They have
a Thursday night special (two entrees and a bottle of wine) that encourages exploration of their menu.
As a local,
I've come to know the owners casually, and I like them quite a bit. They've had some unevenness in their service over the
years, but currently seem to have a stable, competent level of service that I hope they are able to maintain.
The Indigo Crow is not a fast restaurant, and does not have a polished corporate feel. So if that is your preference, you
will undoubtedly hate them. However, these are real people who love real food and serve it in the most beautiful village in
New Mexico. So sit back, take your time, don't be a jerk, and you will most assuredly enjoy what they have to offer. A nice, quiet location and a very pretty
area. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not

entree was to die for. I was pleasantly surprised, especially given other reviewers' comments. We had set out to eat at Hannah
and Nate's but it was closed. I am so glad, now. The service was great also! This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor

So-So Service” TucsonTraveler1 13 contributions Tucson, AZ Sep 29, 2008 We had no trouble getting a table at 5pm on a Friday evening, although
the restaurant had filled up by 6pm. All of the food was fantastic! We had a delicious and unique salad of grilled hearts
of romaine and then a salmon entree that was cooked to perfection.
Service, however, was on the slow side and we
wondered a few times if we had been forgotten. Our primary gripe is regarding my husband's allergy to gluten. We informed
the waiter who, understandably, was not sure if the items we ordered were gluten-free. We asked him to please check with the
chef and were very surprised when her returned to tell us that the chef did not know. Any chef should know what gluten is
and be able to tell a customer which dishes are gluten-free.
The waiter's suggestion was to just order the salmon
dry...with no seasoning or anything. We don't go out to restaurants for dry, flavorless meals! We walked him through the ingredients
of the dish and came to the conclusion that it was gluten-free and so we ordered it as it was described on the menu - and
it was delicious! But, a chef at a restaurant of this caliber really should be better informed.
Despite this aggravation,
the food was fantastic and we would go back if we were in the area again. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor

prices, very competent waiters/waitresses - one of the best restaurants in the ABQ region! This review is the subjective opinion of

Food and Wine and Fantastic Atmosphere” DJS58 1 contribution Denver, Colorado Feb 11, 2008 My wife and I ate at the Indigo Crow on Saturday evening, February 9, 2008 while we were in
Corrales. We didn't have a reservation but they accommodated us even though the restaurant was busy. The service and food
was fantastic, and there's a great wine list with extremely reasonable prices. We ate at the bar (which gave us a chance to
chat with the owners and enjoy the kiva fireplace). We had a great time. My wife had the Mahi and I had a New York Strip,
both of which were perfectly cooked. The portions were ample, prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food was absolutely
excellent. The owners really pay attention to detail. For example, they use Riedel glassware for serving their wines, which
shows hem to best advantage. The space is attractive and intimate. We highly recommend the Indigo Crow, and will return the
next time we're in town! This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. “Best meal in ABQ” albuquerqueturkey 3 contributions ABQ, NM Oct 15, 2007 1/1 found this review helpful I made a reservation for my husband and I to
celebrate the our anniversary through the restaurant's website, and arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night during Balloon Fiesta
(Albuquerque's busy season). We were welcomed and seated immediately, had excellent service, and the food was divine. There
is an extensive wine list, and plenty of seasonal items to choose from on the dinner menu. We had the pork loin and the filet,
both served with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. We'd heard the portions were small, but there was more than enough food
for the two of us, and it was so good that we didn't leave any behind! This was the best meal we've had since moving to ABQ
a year ago. The ambiance is great as well- a large patio for warmer times of year and a fireplace indoors for when the weather
is a little chilly. It's a bit of a drive from Downtown ABQ, but Corrales is an interesting little town, and it's definitely
worth the trip! This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. “Quaint & Classic on the Westside” Barone82 1 contribution Albuquerque Mar 16, 2007 Indigo Crow is truly one of the finest moderately-priced restaurants in Albuquerque. The menu
is in constant flux with new and improved gourmet dishes, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is worth
the hightened ticket price. Situated among the Cottonwoods along the Rio Grande, this classic adobe features two wood-burning
fireplaces and an intimate outdoor patio area perfect for lunch on a summer afternoon. I visit at least once a month and have
yet to be disappointed. Stop by for a glass of wine or an entire meal; either way you're in for a treat. This review is the

Indigo Crow is a great independent restaurant September 01,
2008In the past several years, my friends and I have had many enjoyable evenings at the Indigo
Crow in Corrales. The patio is lovely in the summer, and the interior is cozy in the winter - a great venue. Their food has
gotten even better since chef Christina assumed responsibility for the kitchen. During the summer, they have music on the
patio; and the jazz lends a festive air to a beautiful venue. Prices are in the middle to upper range; and the atmosphere
and food are worth it. - Pros: ambience, great
food, good music Wednesday & Sunday evenings in the summer
- Cons: good
for only well-behaved children, slightly pricey

October 15,

can hardly wait to go there this week for dinner, the selections seem out of this world. I'll report back! - Pros: menu selections and preparations

was good but a little slow
June 16, 2005We
stumbled upon this great place a year ago...at first, enjoyable, then a tradition! The owner is pleasent and cordial, staff
friendly and efficient, food unique. The Thursday wine dinners are wonderful and a nice break from the noise and hustle of
the chain joints. Sadly, this may become a tourist attraction and become crowded...we hope not! For a
relaxing dinner in a small and attractive atmosphere, this is a treat! I'd advise that everyone stay away...it is our special
place! ;-)
